I really wanted to return to a center-shafted putter and I tested several out.

I decided on this Bettenardi model and I really had a good putting day Thursday.

It is really easy to line up and aim and I like the scoring grooves on the face for more feel.

I saved the original grip, but added the new SS Znergy 2.0 Pistol grip to it.

Don’t take this the wrong way -

You should start an anon blog and at least get some revenue.

DF2 from LAB is coming out soon.

One of the gesrheads at my club is very a high on it.

I’m thinking of getting a LAB putter soon, but at $400-500, I’d like to try one on the course.

Always been a Scotty guy, got at least 10 of them. The one time I branched out was with a Bettenardi. It was incredibly soft off the face which is normally what I like but I rarely putted well with it so it went in the closet much quicker than any of my others went in there.

My Scotty 5.5 is really lively and distance control is tricky sometimes.

I have 2 Odyssey white hots and a 40 year old Ping Anser.

I really wanted a center-shafted mallet and there are not a lot of good options out there.

I have this one too. Love it and played well with it.
The blue is a little funky, but I like it. Great putter.

TaylorMade came out with SpiderGT line. Was able to try one out and wow, just love how the ball comes off the putter face. I'm much more able to control distance with this one.

That thing has to be the high point of putters. Jesus I couldn't use that just by looking at it.

Putter is one thing I would never mess with. Short story. Back in college I played a ton. I was a broke student and tested a Scotty Studio Stainless and loved it. Couldn’t bring myself to drop $300 at the time. Over the next few years I went thru 3 Odysseys and a Yes Tiffanie that I really wanted to like. But I never could get comfortable.

In 2015, I found one on EBay and bought it. It’s glorious. I’ll never get rid of it. And I spent probably double what I would’ve spent had I just bought the damn thing new. It’s nothing fancy, but sometimes you just really connect with the feel and function of a club.

All putters work if you're a decent putter.

Downvote?

Yeah, that extra $300 will shave putts off your game. Don't even need to practice.

More worried that you think $$ spent equals skill.

I don't care about you. Why would I? No idea who you are.

I just don't like witnessing dumb things.

There's a 14 handicap in our group. He walks around the whole green to check his putt. Takes forever to putt, like a pro. He sucks at putting and never makes anything over 8 ft. Don't take forever to miss. Stupid things.

Sam on here can tell you that we have been doing this for the past 25 years .

It started during our BombSquadGolf.com days.

Changing and trying new clubs has never hurt my game from when I was a 4hcp to now a 8hcp.

The only thing that has hurt my game is age and injuries.

I choose clubs that fit my eye.

It's a retirement hobby now.
