The wife(no pics) has never seen it so we rented it last night. The characters are great and full of personality. The acting is really good, except for the Theresa character. Thornton, Tim Curry, is probably my favorite.

“Connie, you’ve got a dangling participle.”

Is this the one with Sly Stallone as a gangster trying to go straight?

If so, great movie.

Love this movie. Wanted to show the wife but couldn't find it on any streaming service.

His character's reaction when Stallone empties the bag full of lingerie is fricking hilarious

It’s probably been 20 years since I’ve seen this but yeah it is!

Totally forgot about Curry.

My dad had a (highly illegal) collection of 1000s of movies where he would go to Hastings every week and rent three movies and buy a cassette and then record the 3 onto a single cassettes and we had a huge library of movies from it.

That was one of the treasures I found when I would go through and watch some at random. He had a Dewey Decimal system for the whole thing as well.

I’m sure they’re all gone but it was probably several hundred thousand dollars worth of fines in hindsight.

One of my best friend’s dad had the same thing. It wasn’t thousands, but definitely hundreds. He made us a copy of Hoosiers, Dirty Dancing, and Harry and the Hendersons on it, and I wore that sucker out watching those.

Side note: I actually saw Oscar at the theaters with my mom. I was about 11/12 at the time. I don’t remember much about it except that I laughed my arse off. There’s a chance I haven’t seen it since that day actually.
