One particular Dodge dealership located in San Leandro, California, was a recent target of such mayhem. Not only was the dealership heavily damaged, but more than 50 of their high-performance vehicles were stolen and driven right off the lot. That includes almost every single one of their Dodge Challenger Hellcats worth $100,000 apiece

Surely there's no way to very accurately track the location of a brand new car. Right? Nah.

Most will break down before 5,000 miles so the joke's on them.

That should help stop police brutality. Edited to add that this was most likely an inside job as someone had to know where they kept the keys

They are claiming law enforcement is stretched thin at the moment. And they are

You think law enforcement would be the only ones who could track and get those vehicles back?

ITT: people that don't know how GPS works.

This would take a hell of a lot of coordination. 50 cars in a single night?!?

Sounds to me like one of two things: an insurance scam or a high end car theft ring took advantage of the chaos.

Guys it’s ok, property can be replaced and I don’t have to pay for it. If you disagree with me you are a racist.

This one screams of inside job insurance scheme to me.

You gonna go try to reclaim those cars?

Nope. Not me. But they aren't my cars.

That owner is a dumbass. I would have taken the key locker or keys out of the building beforehand. He said he was anticipating the looters and best he could come up with was block the driveway.
