Super fortunate to have the opportunity to attend the South Carolina vs LSU soccer game tonight with my 4th grader tonight.
4 members of the Tigers (3 players and a trainer) took a knee during the anthem. I didn’t know this was still a thing?

How dare you!!!
Of course it’s still a thing.
It was initially done to protest police killing black folks and even though the numbers have zero indication that it happens all the time and factually, white folks are killed more by police, it’s just needed.
The fact you are even asking question makes you racist.
I learned that on the social medias from women with stupid bang hair cuts and apologetic white dudes who tend to date or are married to activist women

Unfortunately yes it’s still a thing
Brought my daughter and 2 teammates to a game last year. They had been to the summer camp and were excited to see the tigers play up close. Half the team and the coaches knelt. We haven’t been back since.

Being an attention whore is definitely still a thing, and probably always will be.

Can they take a knee on that free ride scholarship?

Yeah, my daughter does the USC camp and while they love the rainbow flag (displayed with the country flags represented on the team); they all stood up at least.

Maybe they can wash the football players feet on Saturday before the game

In a just world, they would be kicked off and lose their scholarship. Instead, they will probably be named captains.

I teach high school. Less than half stand for the pledge.
What a brilliant idea bringing up an entire generation of kids to hate their country
