I have a friend who is considering dating his co worker. My view is that if things with the relationship go down hill then it could get messy for him and potentially cause problems at the office but I’ve also heard the majority of people actually meet their spouse at work because that’s where you spend the majority of your time. Does anyone here have an experience good or bad dating a co worker?

I met my future wife at work. We work in different departments so we don’t interact at work.

I don’t know of that ever happening.

Try it out and let us know how it goes.

TIA

Yes. Mostly bad. Depends on the maturity levels and respect for the career, or career limiting aspects. If it's two young people wanting to hook up, bad idea. Two people who have been through some things, more established, know who they are and what they want? Could be worth the risk.

Yes. Had sex on the first date to. Almost every place I’ve worked, there was always some co-workers getting it on. A retail store I worked at 12 years ago, it was rampant.

Yes this a little more serious than that type of job, that’s why my friend is hesitant

Company ink makes great lube for your penis.

Were your coworkers receptive of the relationship and what line of work are you in if you don’t mind me asking

My ex husband used his workplace as his personal Tinder (while still married hence the ex part).

HR ended up investigating him due to multiple complaints from the women he messed around with. He is lucky they are all WFH now cause otherwise it would be a hostile environment as many women there hate him.

He ended up knocking up another coworker and they just got married….so hey, maybe it could work out for your friend as well

Damn, that's awful.

Sadly, I have seen that same scenario play out many times.
