FSU didn't play or defeat a top 10 team in the final rankings.

The other 4 teams all have at least one top 10 win...
Consider this, FSU's best win all year long is beating our LSU tigers which proved to have the worst defense in the south...
The committee got it right...
Don't look now, but Saban is 9-0 against #1 ranked teams
That stat is hard to comprehend...but probably gives us a glimpse of what is about to happen to michigan.
Hopefully,- Kelly gets us an FSU like defense very soon because if we had one this year, LSU would be the team marching towards another title... dang it!

An old saying in the UFC is never leave it in the hands of the judges. That’s the problem with college football. You can win every game you play in a power 5 and a group of judges can tell you they don’t “think” you’re good enough.
Sports is littered with upsets and if we “knew” who would win every game simply by talent level, those giant buildings in Vegas wouldn't be so giant.
IMO, you win a power 5 conference, you should be in. Thankfully, the 12 team playoff will provide for that.

The reason LSU isn't in the final top 10 is largely due to FSU beating them.

That game was just one of three loses. The reason LSU is not in the top 10 is they let Alabama get away with Targeting by their best defender.

The real issue is FSU was 4 last week with all of the known issues - strength of schedule, Travis out. Rather than move them down the committee left them at 4 presumably hoping it would work itself out. This week feels like a manipulation to get the result they want.

Well they were the only team to cause the best offense in the league and eventual Heisman winner any real trouble so they have that.

How can anyone around college football support a post season selected by a committee with no governing authority, no transparency, a sliding scale that moves week to week and year to year and no credibility is unfathomable.
The CFP committee is the worst formula for a post season in sports, at any level, anywhere.
That bullshite wouldn't even fly for rec 10 year old softball but College Football fans not only support it, they want to expand their authority.

Well, if UGA wins, then it would have been Texas left out, correct? It would have been 4 undefeated conference champions, pretty easy...
I agree, I think the committee should have said before the SEC game
"Hello world, just so you know, we're taking an SEC team regardless of outcome of this game"...
"because this conference is by far the most competitive"...
