Michigan is very unlikely to lose. If FSU wins:

Michigan
Washington
Florida St.
Texas

If FSU loses:

Michigan
Washington
Texas
Alabama

Bama ranked higher than Iowa and 12-1 no championship is better than 11-1 no champ game

If Michigan somehow loses "big/ugly" to Iowa, and FSU loses, it could be Ohio State.
I don't think they want to take 2 teams from the SEC & Shut out the big ten unless it's a no brainer, which it wouldn't be.

TCU did not get punished last year for losing their conference championship game. Neither will UM.
