A new day, boys and girl

Not making up any ground

Bregman’s performance last night

Maldy in the lineup?

For you, FODB

I bet $50 against the Stros.

“Your goal shouldn’t be to buy players, your goal should be to buy wins.”

I’m buying wins. $50 per game.

Maldy and Singleton in and Diaz out

Typical FODB. Is Dusty racist?

Not to mention, the insane wedging of Dubon into CF. This is the real frickup here because knowing Shitty is catching no matter what, it forces Yed to DH and Diaz out of the lineup.

Absolutely perfect DAT following the passing of the King.

Shouldn’t it just push Diaz to first? Especially if Abreu isn’t gonna play anyway? Wouldn’t that make sense with your fly ball pitcher out there and all? That’s why Dubon is playing, or so we’re told.

Maldy at Catcher and Dubon in CF is every JV start. You can’t tell me this isn’t on Justin at this point. He should have a big enough dick to swing to stop this if he didn’t prefer it.

No Diaz or Abreu for Singleton, who isn’t going to sniff starting lineup in playoffs, is just typical Dusty not taking every game seriously. Tinkering and inconsistency with no urgency.

Hope we can win today either way, but these decisions also make our lineup less threatening, can keep the game close, which forces us to use our already taxed bullpen in higher leverage situations, which effects future games because they aren’t resting. It’s why it’s so short sighted and dumb.

Fair point. I guess with Abreu back, FODB figures we’re set at 1B….never mind that Diaz hits better than both.

Bregman said in the postgame last night that every game should be treated as a must win. Obviously the manager starting two sub 200 hitters reflects that strategy.

Singleton has multiple hits in each of Verlander’s starts that he has started

I joked that he would become JV’s personal 1B

Chas is just getting absolutely punked by fastballs up in the zone regardless of velo.

Swung at all 4 pitches he saw

The first 2 were perfect for his oppo specialty and 92 FBs in the same exact spot

He couldn’t catch up, so he’s not seeing the ball today. Either Faedo’s delivery or the glare/hitter’s eye

He’s been like that for a week or two now. He finally got to Sale after like three straight fastballs but other than that he hasn’t been on time in a while

I love watching Dubon try to hit balls out to dead CF with his back foot in the air at impact

Do we have a hitting coach? That’s just embarrassing

El Capitan strikes out with man on third. We are 3-3 since his team meeting

It’s a similar scissor action to what Altuve and Yordan do but it’s so much more pronounced, I’m guessing to allow him to generate more bat speed.

Create a bases loaded jam, strike out the side, max yourself to 5-6 innings with pitch count.
