we are 4 years removed from the clippers forming the team around Kawhi, and we have

embarrasing exit in 2020
hard fought run to the WCF in 2021 that while a disappointing end, was something they could hang their hags on
embarrasing end to last year
and now look like they will quietly bow out this year

still have never made it out of the west, 3 out of the 4 years have been wtf, and for all the shite the lakers get kawhi and pg are never healthy

so here we are. kawhi can opt out next summer, they are facing pretty significant questions regarding his health going forward if he opts in, they still owe two unprotected firsts to OKC plus a pick swap, and SGA is becoming an all NBA kind of player in OKC

i understand they were presented with an opportunity that they had to take but....yeesh. they pretty much ended with the worst possible scenario with how this thing could have gone

Oh, he's alive and well.

Yahoo covered how jinxed they are and that they may need to re-think things.

They should relocate the franchise tbh. Vegas is looking for a team.

That's a good idea.

Oh.

They should seriously consider moving out of LA. They need to get out from under the Laker shadow. Not that I care about the Clippers but maybe having their own building would do them some good.

Might as well give it one more shot next year and hope for a miracle where George and Kawhi stay healthy for a playoff run because they probably won't get much in return. When he was healthy Kawhi still looked like Kawhi this year.

As much shite as we talk about "Load management", for Kawhi I think the reality is his body has failed him and he needs the break or something like this will happen.

All in all, PG's injury came at a very shitty time.

Imagine how much support this team would have if they relocated to Seattle and became the SuperSonics

Imagine how much support they would have if they won championships. They’d have Tennessee/cowboy/ Clippers fans!

You don't use the term load management in the playoffs. Either you are damaged goods or you are Big Ben and Zion looking forward to their next appointment with their therapist.

Leonard looks a lot like the latter.

Exactly. You "load manage" in the regular season so you can be fairly fresh for the playoffs.
