Non conf home series Maine, Bethune Cookman and Towson/Southern round robin - a little disappointed with these
Minute Maid will be fun - Texas will be on Sat, ought to be a nice crowd for that one

That's a weak non-conference schedule.
Bethune Cookman has good history, but I'm not sure they even played last season.
Southern on a weekend is terrible.

Yeah with Maine first weekend followed by Towson/Southern I would set up pitching to throw a weekend guy against LA Tech in Ruston that midweek game

I guess it can help get some of the position players more run when we sub out during blowouts, but I still don't like playing any team in driving distance on a weekend. Especially a SWAC team.

I expect us to be very good this year, but coming out of those 12 games with a 6-6 or better record would be amazing. That’s just a really tough draw having those 4 all on the road.

3 pm friday and 7pm sunday timeslots completely suck for those wanting to go to minute maid. Wonder why we didnt get our usual friday night slot
