After last years game, and especially comments made in the locker room, Bama is probably going to try and make amends, etc. Wont be a pretty sight, and wonder if the team will give a complete effort for 60 minutes?

Well the team didn’t compete in the second half vs a bad auburn team The fact is the tigers haven’t played a good team all year and they are 1-3. This is about to get horrific. Yea I’m sure bama is playing on a loop roll tide frick you lol

So tired of these threads about how we pissed off Bama last year and are going to get it this year. frick Bama. I loved what Coach O said last year. If they want to try to run up the score I hope our players have enough pride to make them pay for it. Hit Frat Mac in the chops a few times if he is in there in the 4th with a big lead and Saban will think twice about trying to embarrass anyone. All you Betas who are wringing your hands get off the train at the next stop. I’m just happy to just have football this season and know LSU will figure it out.

I'm with you. I don't get all this gloom and doom. We lost 17 STARTERS from last years team (and 30+ players overall). We're going to be starting a TRUE FRESHMAN QB. If Alabama blows us out, is it really that big a deal? Are they really gonna get THAT much satisfaction out of it, knowing we're in a weakened condition? If so, so be it. I think the team should go into this game with nothing to lose and just let it rip. Nobody is expecting us to win that game anyway.

Sagan is gonna keep pounding for 60 mins..... he may have reserves in but he is gonna play like it’s 0-0 till the end. Even though may already have 63. If TJ thought he saw pressure last week, just wait......

I’m with you brother. This is the kind of game where the players might surprise you. If they don’t get up for Bama no one is motivating these guys to play.

And he should. That's part of playing in a divisional rivalry. This shite goes back and forth year in and year out for the most part. Obviously Bama had that long run, but this is big boy football. Strap up and go get it.

I’m hoping that LSU comes out with the same passion they did against Carolina.... but I’m not sure it’s gonna matter.... Saban is licking his chops looking at how we have played this year.

They competed early until Finley had the two crushing TO's. Once AU bookended the half with TD's LSU had no confidence in their QB. I'm not saying they were justified in quitting, but the circumstance as to how AU blew open the lead made them more apt to do so.
However, if they come out vs. Bama with no heart then there is a BIG issue with Ed because he will have clearly lost the program. IF LSU looks disinterested in that game, then Ed should just circle the wagons and bench/remove anyone who doesn't play with effort. Let the young players play the rest of the season to start prep for next year.

Man who cares. This season is a total joke. I want the young guys to get some experience and get ready for a season which has fans and not cardboard cutouts. A season which has tailgating and not empty parking lots. True fans cheering and not fake noise piped in. A season where all teams play a full schedule and not some improvised 7, 8, or 10 game schedule thrown together. A season where teams have had ample practice time (Spring, Fall) to prepare a team and put in offenses and defenses properly. A season where games are games and not learning and coaching experiences done at game time. This season is just thrown together for TV money so schools can pay bills. Now paying coaches and paying bills is necessary but don’t kid yourself into believing this season is a true exhibition of college football because it isn’t.

Coach O is dealing with missing 32 players from a National Championship Team which he built. Then he has a new DC who is trying to install a defense without having a Spring or legitimate Fall Practice to do so. LSU will be fine even if they go 2-8. Some of you actually believe this season is a legitimate football season but it truly is simply a thrown together, last minute concoction. Now we are playing with 2 true Freshmen QBs and you are talking about the team being lost. Good grief.
