Watching the 2009 Baseball Team in the CWS....

These kids were fearless, and had the "It" factor Mainieri's teams have sorely lacked outside of 17'

Helenihi didn't bat well in the CWS but he was making incredible defensive plays on third. I think he also batted really well in the SEC tournament, regional, or super regional. I can't remember though. It's been 11 years. Lol

I don't know, if Walker wouldn't have been pulled for injury heading into the CWS, the 2017 team probably would've been National Champions as well.

those who win alot are defined as leaders. Blake dean was a big time leader on that team, but apparently lost that ability the following year
