And I noticed they seemed bigger as well. Compared to the Gorilla bats slugged by the 90s giants, the 2009 team didn't look to be particularly big guys. But compared to the current team, with the exception of a couple of guys (non-pitchers), they look bigger and taller. At any rate, guys like Mahtook, Coleman, Jones and others were definitely emotional leaders. We sure could use more guys like that.
