Who do yall think we really missed out on? Feels like it all worked out for the best...would Surtain, Smith, carter even have started right now? Moses may have been the only one

Smith is a beast. I would rather play with him than against him if those are my options.

Surtain would start at the nickel but he's not beating out Stingley. He's that good.

Surtain isn't from Louisiana and never committed to LSU. But holy hell, he'd be an improvement over Kary Vincent 
Imagine our DBs being Fulton, Stingley, and Surtain. Yikes.
Smith isn't really missed because our receivers are badasses.
Moses isn't really missed because we're deep there, but he would've played a lot I guess and racked up tackles.
Historically, we really could've used Cam Robinson and Isaiah Buggs.

Obviously just because of injuries, but I agree. He has looked WAY better than I thought he would. Saban has an undeniable eye for talent.

True but his family was all from new orleans and i think we can agree we thought he was a commit....and for sure replacing him with vincent would be the winner

If we had signed Surtain, would we have had an extra scholarship for Burrow? Was Surtain and Burrow the same year?
