Hannigriff and Ott having a spat about the off week

On 104.5, Hanny feels LSU needs to use this off week to scout themselves and see where they have issues, where they need tweak to or adjust, anticipate where Saban might attack LSU’s offense and defense.
Ott strongly implied he doesn’t see where LSU has done anything wrong or needs to change or improve on for Saban. He thinks it’s all gone very well for LSU, why adjust anything?

Dumb. LSU has done very well, but like every team, it has tendencies. It’s not about making drastic changes.

Hanny wants LSU to not be predictable. Ott is showing his arse, says LSU’s going to throw the ball, there are no surprises. About as spicy as It’s been in while. Hannigriff is right, tweek things a bit for Saban, Hanny wants this win bad. Ott being too arrogant, considering LSU’s record against Bama.

Ott's point makes no sense. Why wouldn't we adjust things if they could potentially be better? the offense just had their worst 2 games in back to back weeks. I agree that we should all be very pleased with the offense, but Saban will kill us if we get complacent. Aranda and O were smart to self scout. Sean Payton, specifically, is so good because he's constantly self-scouting.

He’s dumb
It’s about breaking certain tendencies, like running one particular play 80% of the time on 3rd and 5. Has it worked, yes. But he’s ignoring the fact that Bama is studying those tendencies abs will be ready to call a D for that.
His mentality, similar to miles, this is what we’re gonna do...try to stop it. That’s fine against inferior talent, not against equal
