Since everyone is gushing about our team right now that's what I have.

I see a lot of arc, high release point, and an uncanny touch and softness. You don't see a shot like his very often at all....

Reid is more physical than Dirk was. Hopefully he will develop his shot and become as accurate as Dirk was. A shot like his with his size is literally unblock-able.

Dude. Dirk was gifted at fall away 3ptrs with someone all over him at 7ft tall. Naz has a great game, but its not Dirk level from the outside.

He can definitely shoot the ball but right now he is much more of a catch and shooter. He doesn't have the post fluidity Dirk had and hasn't displayed Dirk's patented fadeaway. I can see the similarities because of the size and shooting ability but Naz obviously has a long way to go to deserve this comparison. Naz is somewhat stronger and more athletic than Dirk was though.

He has a ways to go. Not saying he won’t get there or even surpass Dirk— but slow ya roll

I don't see the comparison at all. They're just not similar players IMO. Reid is more like a Rasheed Wallace type of player. He's a big physical player that can step out and hit a three if he needs to. Dirk was a pure shooter, one of the purest shooters in NBA history. And him creating space for shots with subtle moves and limited athleticism was a thing of beauty.

Dirk's post game is leagues away from Reid. NBA forwards don't play the post like they used to anyway...

In the way he plays you really aren’t wrong, though his fade-away has nothing in dirk lol

Naz would score 100 if he’d make majority of his easy baskets.

Dirk is white with short hair. Zero resemblance imo.

I like this comparison. I’ve been trying to think of a player like him since he got here and I haven’t been able to. I think his shot is better though. It’s not like he’s just hitting wide open corner threes. He’s shooting it from deep with a guy in his face.
Kinda like cousins but not quite as big

Wade showed him Chris Webber highlights when they were recruiting him.
