Led with helmet. Intended to do dangerous harm to the quarterback. Don’t need to leave feet to launch. The crown of the helmet landed the hit in the chin area of the qb. This pic shows seconds afterward.

This is 10x more targeting than Devin White. Saban needs to teach disciplined tackling like coach O does. Our guy pulled off and tried to lessen the blow as much as he could. Wilson went full on hurt mode.

Ok great let’s see half a second earlier when he actually makes contact.

And who cares. We don’t want him or devin suspended

Crown of the helmet is defined as any area above the facemask to the back of the helmet. Def hit with the crown

Nice still frame showing what you want it to. Show it from the other angle and the initial strike where he launched and led with the crown.

Dumb arse

No one said he should’ve necessarily been ejected. We’re saying Devin also should not have been. Or that both should’ve. We want consistency!

Move that frame a few more notches forward...Where does his upward momentum go??? Do both feet leave the ground at that point???

So he hit him in the head, fell down into his chest while landing at an angle on 1 foot?

Launching is when you make contact in the air.....

Photo looks way better than the slow motion video I saw...where his helmet went right under his chin strap...and almost disappeared at impact

the kid was hurt...

in the old days, that's football, it's a terrific hit

but under new rules where we eject players for the game and half the next, I mean shoot...we have to some consistency.

feel free to show the same photo of White and you will see hands...not helmet

At what point in the hit does that image occur? Well into it I'd say.
