If we lost to Bama and Georgia, would you want O fired?

We have already beaten expectations by beating Auburn and Miami. But lets say the only 2 games we drop this year is Bama and Georgia. Would you feel like that is a good season or would you be calling for CEO’s head?

Depends....are those the only two losses?

Were they close?

Did we shite the bed and give it away (see Bama 12/14)?

Conservative to a fault?

More specific please.

No, we'd be highly disappointed, as would he, but we're not going to fire him for a 10 & 2 record, hell no.

Granted, if we felt he and Ensminger did a poor job of coaching and play-calling against Sabama and Georgia, we'd certainly be furious.

If the team continues to progress they will have a shot at home.
I like chances against UGA better.
Either way it will be a fun ride.

Nobody in their right mind would want Orgeron fired for going 10-2 with losses to Bama and Georgia.

That would probably means LSU is in a NY6 bowl, with hopefully a great recruiting class coming in, and are legit playoff contenders next season.

I did not support the Orgeron hire, and even I think that would be completely insane to even consider.

I dont Think he gets fired this year or should be

He isn’t tankinng the program.

The question is can he win an NC.

And we will see but I’m not betting my house on it, but you don’t make that decision year 2.

There are 2 reasons to fire a HC: he sucks or he isn’t good enough.

Les got to the point we’re he wasn’t good enough, but he never really sucked (maybe early 2016)

So fire him for a regular season of 10-2?

We’d all be disappointed but 10-2 would definitely keep him at least through next year. Hopefully we’d have at least been competitive in that scenario and get NY6 bid. We’d be trending in the right direction and then the talk would be how he follows it up with all the returning starters on offense next year.

Could we please stop with the fire O comments please? Lets focus on the team for the rest of the year.

Of course not...but two ugly home losses to UGA/Bama would have people hot around the collar.

With our schedule, 10-2 would probably be a New Years 6 bowl game. Not only are they not firing him for 10-2, to be back in a relevant bowl for the first time since ‘11? No way.

Holy crap, I’ve been as “anti-O” as anyone and the only thing I’d want him fired for this year would have been a complete disaster like 4-8.

I agree, Tiger on the Rag, I really don't wanna think about it. Plus, I really would like to take this 1 week at a time, and I expect to split those 2 games anyway. I feel we can beat Georgia, and as the season goes along and we get better and better offensively, I may have my mind set on defeating Sabama too. I just gotta take this slow.
