I know what you are getting at, and I kind of agree, but you are trying too hard.

The Band sank with The Titanic, too. Major changes need to be made next year, less control for Paul Mainieri, somebody besides him needs to hire a hitting coach.

I personally don't think it's time to fire him, but I'm certainly not going to say that I will definitely feel the same way in 7 years.

the fact that the rant wants him fired is so beyond idiotic. I was ok with the Les firing, I didn't like how it went down (frick alleva) but I can live with it. Can't wait to see what CEO does for us. I'm on record saying JJ needed to be fired and I wouldn't support the LSU basketball team until he was. You don't fire a coach like CPM. We aren't going to find anyone better.

You think 1 win in Omaha in 8 years for one of the most storied programs in college baseball is acceptable?

I also agree with you that the Miles situation is completely different than that of Mainieri.

Never accept mediocrity, Alabama Football should've stayed with Mike Shula, North Carolina Basketball with Matt Doherty, LSU Baseball with Jack Lamabe.

Not acceptable but not worthy of firing the hbc. I'm just saying begging for CPM to be fired this year, of all years doesn't seem to be smart. His best coaching job in my opinion was last year, when we lost bregman, foster, stevenson, laird, sciambra, hale, and scivique and we went 19-11 in the SEC and lost to the eventual CWS champions

I understand everyone wants what's best for LSU and fans are irrational, but there is nothing at all mediocre about LSU baseball. If you want to say the team isn't living up to the high expectations, that's fine. But mediocre is silly. Any team in the top 25 isn't mediocre or average.

We get it Poncho, but daily threads after every loss are unnecessary. It is the rant where knee-jerk reactions are common. I do not believe that CPM needs to be fired at all, but he needs to right the ship.

High expectations + Average Results = Disappointed Fans
