Kramer was about 90% gone before the season. 50/50 now.
Hunter is about 75%
Stallings is 20%
Reynolds is 80%
Deichmann is a total wildcard. Raw. 50/50
Romero is another. Wants out but may not get what he's looking for.
Freeman is back
Bain is back
Cartwright is back

Kramer will wear #8 next year.

Is Poche a lock to leave?
Posted on 6/8/16 at 8:25 pm to TailgatingTiger26
You didn't include Poche and Fraley, I assume you all believe they are lock to leave early?

I think he's gone. 3 year starter with his track record. Unless he truly thinks he can add speed to that fastball under Alan Dunn in his senior year and improve to a top 5 round pick, I can't see him coming back.

One of KRob's postgame quotes.
quote:
"He was as good as I've ever seen him," said Robertson, who was at second when Deichmann's ball reached escape velocity. "Greg's the MVP of the regional, well deserving, but we don't win the regional today without Jared Poche'. "I don't think Jared wanted this to be his last game at Alex Box [Stadium] and he pitched like it."

I want K Rob back. I think now because of his season he is having, he would consider coming back to LSU

Double edged sword. He feels a lot better about being here and would not hate returning. But his stock is about as high as it could get along with leverage.

Robertson is much higher than 40%. His rise has been incredible and I don't know that it can get any higher. He'll lose a good bit of leverage if he returns.

I hope these guys care more about winning at LSU than "stock" and "leverage".
If we fall short this year, Fraley Poche Robertson and Newman could come back and make us the favorite for next year.

They really need to push the draft back a few weeks until after the CWS. Not that it will ever happen because MLB dgaf.

Why does it have to be one or the other? Some of the guys who love LSU the most left after 3 years. They eventually get their degree but start their career earlier. Make more money typically.

I mean I don't know how many times I've heard guys like McDonald or Rantz talk about how much more enjoyable LSU was than the pros, especially the minors. I get frustrated by the impatience to not stay that one more year they will never get back.
Just imagine if Nola would have stayed for his senior year. Our rotation last season would have been Nola, Lange, Poche. We truly might have gone undefeated.

I don't think you get it.

Your argument is that grown men wish they could still be in college? That's what you got? And then your next example includes Nola. The guy making millions in the majors?
Want to try again?

We usually disagree on just about everything, 2006. I believe that that extra year of college is worth the money given up.

If they stay another year, it's s year of being paid they'll never get back. Plus if they get seriously injured senior year, they may never get the chance to cash in

These are guys who experienced both. And they almost always say that big time college was better and that they wish more guys would stay in school. I think those are reliable sources.
Just saying - he could have put that off one more year and become possibly the greatest college pitcher of all time and I would be willing to bet we would have won the CWS going away.

Well next time you're an all-American junior pitcher at LSU about to be drafted top-10 and make boat loads but decide to come back to LSU, let us know for sure how you feel. I'd go ahead and take the money, thanks.
