If this team makes it to the tourney it will be by the skin of their teeth and based solely on talented players maturing.

I actually believe that JJ does know basketball. I just think he's a terrible in game coach. Our in game adjustments are few, far between and largely ineffectual. Someone finally told him that he can call a timeout, so there's that, but he leaves one on the board with 10 seconds left in the game and we only needed one damn point to win. Call a TO mfer and make sure the right person is taking that shot.

There's too much talent on this team for it to be this bad. Period.

I like JJ and would love for him to be successful at LSU.

That said, he had two of the top 32 players in the country last year and underachieved, and he's underachieving this year with arguably the best player and at least one more projected to play in the NBA and several others who could be second round picks down the road.

I've lost whatever confidence I had that he can get the most out of his players.
