I have sat back the last couple of weeks and just thought about this season and all that happened at the end and I'm just tired of football and have less than zero interest in it and even LSU football right now. I feel like some limit has been reached and I'm past it. Anyone else?

Watch our basketball team and you will forget about football.

No, I care about football. Could not care less about basketball. We have a one and done player? Fine. Doesn't matter to me.

You should always care and support the team. When they have a Bowl Win and good Recruiting you will come back! LF7 has a chance to go over 2000 yards Rushing against like the 114 Defense in the nation.

What is this abortion of a thought, and post?

You are the epitome of "not a real fan"

How do you say something like "I feel like it had reached a limit".... Why did you consider yourself a Tiger in the first place.

Please, nosedive right off of the bandwagon, and never look back.

Me! I had to be convinced to agree to go to Houston...with friends, free ticket, free lodging.
I'd honestly rather watch the LSU/Wake Forest game.

I graduated from LSU in 1981 and received my MBA from LSU in 1984. My oldest daughter graduated LSU in 2010. I am "invested" in the school but this last season and Miles have done something to me. I hope and expect to get excited again as 2016 season approaches but i'm just burned out from it.

Long term football fan but losing interest fast. These coaches are incompetent when it comes to QB recruitment and development. Our offense is painful to watch. We took a QB last year that no major program offered. We looked screwed this year and next years in state QB options don't seem interested. Cam needs to go now and Les after next year unless we win the west. Just no excuse.

and in reply to bgtiger, I'm not a TPOS. Ever since graduating LSU I have made monetary donations to the school which have increased as my ability to make them has increased. I do not belong to TAF or any other "organized" group but I do care. In 2013, 14 and 15 I have donated to LSU an amount in the 5 figure range so I care deeply. I have not tried to "buy" connections or influence or even associate with those who do. My season tickets are modest in location (15 yard line, south end, West side, mid-way up first level). For years I sat in the South endzone, 2nd tier and enjoyed the fans there. I know this is rambling but I am not some flaming ranter.

61 years old. Been an LSU football fan since I was five, and never missed a game on TV or person since. But I'm tired. If Miles can't turn around the offense, after given a clear referendum to do so, how do we keep him. It's clear: Get the offense straightened out or find someplace else.

To me it's weird - my father, an alum and longtime fan regarding the downward trend toward mediocrity and less than dominant status commented that - well..shite maybe now we can worry less about the games and care more about partying and having a good time like we used to...

Interesting point - I'd still rather us dominate but let's not lose sight of what makes our fall traditions so admired and revered - it's the spirit of the south and Louisiana culture that's most worthy of celebration.
