Who else has become pleased with Chicken Bowl ?

The exposure could very well be more than a NYD bowl.
Since we have been playing the GADome venue the last 5-7 years, our recruiting from Ga and SC has been better (Minter, Montgomery)
Combining the ATL and the DAL exposure (opening in JerryDome again) is a nice augmentation to the LA/MS/AL recruiting formula
Clemson is a pretty good team and a win will be meaningful. A beat down will be powerful, especially if our D shuts them down.
I'm happy with it all.

I am happy to play clemson. I think they could be a solid lower middle Tear SEC football team, which is a top tier team in every other conference.

I would shed a tier if LSU ever dropped down to the low to middle tear.

This is the big thing that I don't like about it. We play there so often that it's no longer "special".
Also, I just don't like the city of Atlanta. It's cold (unlike most Florida bowl sites), it's ghetto (unlike many other possible bowls), it's not particularly fun (unlike New Orleans, Miami, Orlando, ect.), and it's full of Falcons fans.

Stupid, I know, but I would like it better if it was still called "the Chik-Fil-a PEACH Bowl". Dropping the traditional name of the bowl somehow seems to cheapen it.

I do agree that the match-up is better than most of the BCS bowls and that the New Year's Eve timeslot is better than New Year's Day when you have multiple games to compete with.

Good matchup. Good primetime TV slot. I have my plans to watch at the New Years Eve party.
I think most of the negative reaction is just from getting hosed by the SEC...again. They do this to LSU too much for us not to be upset.

I'm enjoying it...After watching the bowl preview yesterday, I was reminded that Chick-Fil-A is a 'Marketing Machine'. Considering our circumstances, I think it is a great bowl for us, and maybe the best. See ya there...

im not pleased. No one should be. This game serves no purpose for LSU. Win and you were supposed to cuz its the ACC. Lose and well you lost to the acc. There will be better things to on new years eve then to watch this crappy bowl. Theres a reason theres still 6000 tickets left!
