Tell me again, why’d we let him go?

Lingering injury and coaching changes. WE didn’t let him go.

Baw is also from around Texarkana. I’ve always assumed it was a ‘homesick’ thing as well. No proof of that though.
Glad he’s had success. I honestly didn’t know he had played that well this season.

His younger brother is a 4 Star 6'5 240lb TE/DE at Pleasant Grove and has zero interest in LSU. Landon might not have left on the best terms. Would've been nice to have kept him.

Think going to Arkansas was a better all around situation for him to succeed.

Landon has family in Fayetteville. A big part of his family are major Arkansas fans. Pleasant Grove High School calls University of Arkansas, grade 13 because so many of our students go to college there, so he already had a lot of lifetime friends there. Transferring to Arkansas was going home for him

I knew he's be really good once his injury healed. Hated to see him go but happy for the young man...

Pleasant Grove High School is in Texarkana, Texas not Arkansas.

You do know that Texarkana Texas and Texarkana Arkansas connects ?

You dipshits do know that a player can transfer without his current team’s permission, don’t you?

Living in Texarkana, I can tell you that this area is all about U of Arkansas more than any other school. I was shocked when Landon chose LSU. AT that time his HS did have a coach thT played at LSU. He was injured severely his Senior year and did not finish the year. He came to lSU and rehabbed the whole year. I think he realized he was bottom of depth chart. I watched him play this year and don't understand the All SEC selection. He reminded me of Maason Smith playing this year....DON'T get it!!

Cause he’s ugly and doesn’t fit with our brand

I don’t think the current staff had a say so In it. He was in the portal almost immediately after the season ended

I love this idea teams can simply "keep" or "get" players or that "LSU let someone leave".
