Scraping out a W against one of the worst teams in CBB and not even covering, looks like his days are numbered. I don't see this team winning anything come conference play. With each game they are getting worse.

Wade left the cupboard bare. His shenanigans set the program back for the foreseeable future.

That is no longer an excuse in college basketball. Talent wasn’t the issue last night against one of the worst teams in college basketball.

In the transfer portal era, turning over 7-9 spots a season is not unusual.

I’m not sure why people can’t understand this. Missouri just did it last year too and went to the tournament. It can be done quickly. Too many excuses for mediocre coaching.

This is no longer a thing. It’s not 2005. You can rebuild a full team in a month. And spare me with the “dark cloud” bullshite. McMahon clearly cannot coach at this level.

How long did it take Lloyd at Arizona once Miller was fired, while the school was still under investigation?

Hint: He wasn’t struggling with low-major teams in his second season.

LSU fans still use that excuse for Brian Kelly, and he was left with 40 players. The difference is the fan base loved Wade mostly and grew to hate coach zero

To me this is valid. It's all relative. You can compare like situations and come to reasonable conclusions.

A lot of transfers we have on the roster are guys were from Power 5 schools but who weren't starters for the most part. Miller was a starter on a No. 1 seed Illini club. But where is the development, the improvement like say Tari Eason who was a bench player for a middling Cincinatti team before coming here.

Or Skylar Mays who displayed dramatic improvement.

And guys who were recruited from high school like Reed and Ward who were top 40-50 recruits and who have obvious skills but seem to be running in quick sand as far as development.

We should not be struggling with the likes of Nichols and Southeastern.

Will there be some improvement and development as this year evolves? It's getting harder and harder to see that happening. I hope I'm wrong.

Bad news is last year the team just kept getting worse and worse each week we looked worse than before.

Mcboring doesn’t belong in the new sec basketball land scape

You people need to realize no one really cares about men's basketball at LSU anymore and hasn't truly gave a damn since the days of Dale's best years. It has been dead except for rare flashes of a season here and there. That why you will never get a new arena, you are stuck with the PMAC forever.

It should never take a school like LSU 2 years to be competitive with Southland Conference powerhouses like Nicholls and Southeastern.

This is the truth basketball is a long and away third after thought here.

I’d kill to have a John Brady type of roller coaster again.

Woody dumping wade instead of fighting had a lot of layers to it, protecting football because of Les and Ed, getting his family a win by bending the knee, and the chance to remove a squeaky wheel that wanted upgrades to the pmac.
