Black Friday Arkansas game

Would love to see this game back to its correct date and time. Hopefully with UT being in the SEC they’ll get faggies last game of the year

IMO the Arkansas-LSU rivalry never caught on the way the SEC hoped it would. Maybe a couple of more Saturday night games as opposed to a Friday afternoon game might've helped. Who knows? Maybe it'll get moved again.

Texas is not A&M's permanent opponent. LSU is. Ags/UT will play twice in a 4-year cycle as the SEC schedule is set up.

Why in the hell would they not have Texas and Texas A&M rivals that play in the last game?
I also wish we could get Arkansas rivalry game on Black Friday back. We had good games with them.

We each have 1 permanent opponent. That 1-7 schedule model won the vote 9-5. A&M wanted LSU and LSU had no preference. Texas wanted OU and NOT A&M. That's the way the SEC voted for the 2024 season at least.
That 8-game schedule is not going to change unless ABC/ESPN agrees to pay the SEC more for that 9th SEC game and maybe not even then.
Right now every current SEC member is not getting even one more dollar because Texass and OU are coming into the SEC. We will get more $$$ than now but we would have gotten that even if UT/OU had not wanted in. The deal Sankey negociated is not working like he hoped it would.

We had really bad games with them. 2002 and 2008 were terrible, as was the three OT fiasco in 2007.

They haven’t decided that yet. Stop providing wrong information. We have a stop gap year in 2024 until they can decide 1-7 or 3-6 model.

I loved that Black Friday game. Put it at 2:30 or later though. I remember beating the Hogs down bad 8n our undefeated season.

I loved the Friday game. It made the holiday seem more festive. I always worked a half day when we were on the road and cut out in time to catch it on tv and three day work week when it was a home game

Aggie as LSU's opponent was set before UT and OU had voting rights.
