Listen to coach here. Players were just standing on the sidelines grab assing. You dont tell them they need to get reps and deliver any intensity if they already are.
Diaco 'spirited' talk
This was the spirit of other coaching videos as well.
We may not be great or even good from a talent standpoint, our coaches may not be putting them in the best positions.
But performances like Saturday night are indicative of a failed program. There is simply no buy in, no attention to detail, no energy, no competitive drive.

the current NIL era sucks. It needs reforming badly.

So the Defense is a failed program, but the Offense is not?

Uh, none of this applies to the offensive side of the ball. They have been outstanding.

quote:No, the team has failed. It will bleed over to the offense in time. We have too many holes. When you lose to a mediocre Ole Miss team, make FSU look like a juggernaut , and squeak by Arky at home...you are a program that has lost its way. We dont have the answers in players, and there is little hope on the horizon.
So the Defense is a failed program, but the Offense is not?
So, yes, the team has failed. The won loss record will reflect that.

The list is zero.

quote:I agree. But, other programs have figured it out to a certain degree. I dont mind the players getting paid for their name being used to make money for the school or the networks. You sell a jersey with your name on it, the kid with the name should get a portion. But to wholesale open up wallets is just not what I think is appropriate.

Ok you’re probably right about that. But somehow the offense has been prepped properly and is playing damn hard. It’s not an overall team issue is what I’m saying.

Can't blame NIL, every team under the same conditions. This is on BK.

our two losses are 100% on being outcoached

It is an overall team issue. Grade the units. Defense 0, Offense 9, ST cant return or squib and must be within the 30 to attempt a FG, I cant say they are average. Overall a failed grade.
If you include intangibles, the only four that step up are Diggs, Daniels, Thomas and Nabors. Maybe Whit Weeks. You need to make this intensity the norm, not the exception.

Exactly right.

That's not what they say in Georgia, at Ole Miss, or at Florida State.

You missed the sarcasm.

The team has not failed if the only the Defense is horrid, and you have no idea how things will transpire in the upcoming weeks.

You sure about that? Before NIL Kirby had a roster that could run over anyone they played. 2 years after it was introduced UGA’s clear advantage in talent has been noticeably reduced.

I was agreeing with your sarcasm

Only one program that has a chance at another national championship, and we have better "recruited" talent than Ole Miss or FSU.
Its about money and taking risks. LSU doesnt have the money to compete with OSU and A&M and Kelly is hell bent on character.
Texas, OU and A&M are about to eat our lunch in recruiting.
