Coming off a loss with a strong SEC schedule ahead

Now Bama, A&M, and Arkansas look bad. Florida is a 7-5 team, Ole Miss should have lost to Tulane

Nobody on our schedule scares me and we should be favored in every game.

And even playing UGA in Atlanta shouldn’t scare anyone.

This could be a special year. No team has looked dominant

SEC seems down yes. As of today Ole Miss and Auburn could be trap games.

The opener loss still bothers me

The landscape of the SEC and the rest of college football- yeah, that I can buy.

With LSU- not really. This site was jumping off a fricking cliff two weeks ago, but not all of us were chicken littles. I was very disappointed, but I believed the staff would get them on the same improvement trajectory as last year’s team. So far, they seem to be a bit ahead of that schedule, which makes sense with as many contributors as we have returning.

I felt this way week one. I still believe every team will suffer at least one loss and our loss doesn't look nearly as bad as it did 2 weeks(Shout out West and Whit) ago.

In fact, we look ever better and seem to be finding the right pieces to play together. I think at times CBK overthinks it or holds a bad practice against the better players.

Flarta just might be much improved this year. They looked pretty good last night against Tennessee. I wouldn't be surprised if they move into the 8-9 win realm this year.

Playing a team like Ms State will often do that.

reports of LSU's death have been greatly exaggerated

We’ll see. UT’s defense sucked last year and it looks like they haven’t really improved. That and Milton not being even close to replicating Hendon Hooker is what you saw last night.

UF does look better, but they will struggle against anyone who can slow down their running game. UT just couldn’t do it.

after the next 2 games we might be able to start making an assessment of the season. yeah, we looked great against MOo st, with a rookie coach who made a radical change to the offense and didn't prepare his defense well. did they even watch any film on LSU?

last year we were on a roll and looked and played like a very bad team the last 3 games. the next 2 opponents are SEC and have a pulse on offense.

we were dominated by FSU who struggled against Boston College. the FSU game brought me down to earth and i'm keeping my feet on the ground until i see us play some games against tougher and tougher competition.
