He ain’t getting much grace. Lots of people seem skeptical.

It’s okay to be skeptical, but to turn on him after one game would be absurd.

Losing to Florida St. back to back years especially the way it went down on Sunday will make that happen. Not only was the game embarrassing but his remarks before and after are a cause for concern. This doesn’t mean I don’t think Kelly can win a championship at LSU. We’re a lot further off than I thought. Like not even close to where we need to be.

He’s making almost 100 million dollars to coach football. For that price, the fans should expect much better than what we got in game 1.

The same people who said LSU didn’t have the bullpen to win the CWS.

We all know how that ended.

It’s not Tiger nation, it’s the perpetually unsatisfied and negative fans that post here.

I said we would learn a lot about him from this game and we have. None of it is good. What will happen if LSU loses 5 this year? God forbid 6.

More like a lot of us always thought he was a pompous politician who shares some culpability for the death of a student (his response to that situation has always bothered me) but we kept our mouths shut when he was producing results.

giving up 31 unanswered points in the second half will do that. Inexcusable.

This is a false narrative. Speak for yourself, but not for the whole nation.

Everything will be fine. He is ten times the coach we have had in the past. Don’t let a few on this board make the overall picture foggy.

Saban lost to ULM early on at Bama. Orgeron lost to Troy two years before the championship (granted he drove the team into the ground after that). He still has another year or 2 to prove himself imo.

That kinda happens when you look as awfully unprepared in every facet of a nationally televised game watched by every pundit and college football fan.. we were embarrassed and are now deemed a fraud.. losing sucks but this was a failure

Good point. Problem is we’re in a different era of college football. The NIL era. Recruiting has to be better if we want to compete with the top programs. We’re not far off but it needs to be better.

Are you saying if our bullpen was better, we beat FSU on Sunday?

Yes it would be absurd. But he has laid two blowout eggs that are inexcusable: A&M and FSU. His decisions in the UTn game were mind-boggling. Multiple times his teams have looked unprepared to start games. The coverage issues on special teams were never addressed during the entirety of last season. Take away a successful 2 point conversion last November, and there’s very little to suggest he anything more than average.
