That was THE place to go back in the Rosenblatt days, but with all the bars in such close proximity to the new stadium, that’s got to be taking away a ton of their CWS business.

Previous thread got whacked for “poor, one-word” title, or some-such.

I went there twice over the championship series weekend, it was packed both times. I heard that they even ran out of food at one point. It's farther away from the stadium, but I wouldn't worry about their business.

We went there three times during the trip and it was always full. After game one ended it was packed within 45 minutes both inside and out. I enjoyed the heck out that place!

We went several times - we arrived at 1 pm the day of Finals Game 3, and they said they were out of food. No food orders could be taken until 4 pm.

That place is lame. We took over Rocco’s and it’s across the street from the stadium as opposed to miles away like Barretts

They also closed around 1030-11pm. I guess some businesses don’t like making money.

Barrett's is normally closed Sunday and Monday. Our last time going there was lunch Sunday before game two and it was full. They may have mismanaged food, but they were also opened multiple days and hours longer than normal. And the food and service were both great.

There were some cringey 65 yr old dudes staggering around trying to start a STTDB every 30 secs.

It was my fifth Omaha trip. I definitely think Barrett's is losing steam. It's pretty much a dump and is far from the center of activity. Rocco's, The Blatt, and The Mattress Factory have definitely stolen LSU business from them. You have to make an effort to go there, while the others are right near the stadium for pre/post game.

Definitely an older, tamer crowd than what you get near the stadium. Food and drinks were good, crawfish were done well. I enjoyed it but you're not going there to party or chase tail.

Went first and last day for lunch. I feel loyal to them.
It was packed both times. They ran out of food one day and stop taking orders another to play catch up.

Still my favorite place in Omaha, but I like small homie bars like that anyway.

I went after Game 2 and their business looked great. The staff was hustling to take care of guest. I got my Philly cheesesteak order placed about 10 minutes before they ran out of food for the night.

It was a good experience. Not so packed you couldn't move but the place was busy. I would go back again and the food was great. My dad had tried to go back in 2009 and you couldn't walk in the place it was so full. It was busy this time but not like that.

The restaurants around the stadium were definitely packed with LSU fans so they did good business, but I would say Barretts did good business also. There was LSU fans at every place I went in Omaha. We had a big economic impact on the town, not just around the stadium.

Where exactly was Rosenblatt located in Omaha? The foul line poles and a mini replica of the stands is located by the zoo. Is that where the Rosenblatt was?

If so Rosenblatt was still 10 to 15 minutes away from Barretts like Charles Schwabb is.

Overall I was happy to get away from the stadium options, (Hilton, Blatt, Roccos, etc) and venture into other parts of Omaha. Omaha was a nicer city then I expected and I enjoyed the visit there and Barretts.

When they ran out Sunday night after Game 2, I bet they couldn't get a food delivery until later Monday. Sucks for them missing out on the pregame game 3 business Monday. Looking around the place there wasn’t much room to store a bunch of food, and they probably aren't to used to feeding a bunch of LSU fans.

When we go back next year hopefully they are better prepared.

After the first Wake Forest game, there was nobody there. Only 3 of us at the bar and maybe 5 table with LSU fans... that night most Tiger fans went to bed mad early.

Barrett’s is under 15 minutes from Charles Schwab so it’s not like it’s a huge distance.

Yes, walking distance is better but a short Uber ride isn’t the end of the world.
