All year we’ve been told the reasons why you don’t bat your pitcher. Why did we not hit him when he continued to bat and the game was out of hand. Should have thrown every ball at his hands.

You don't hit him because it increases risk factor.

Skenes who is the best pitcher in the country who can also hit. Jac is he best power hitter in the country who can also pitch. If he tears his UCL he can still swing a bat. Bryce Harper did it for half of last season.
