LSU is 1st in SEC with a .311 batting average and Kentucky is 2nd with .296

BUT

Runs scored (SEC ranking)
LSU - 1st
Kentucky - 12th

If you cant score efficiently than you really don’t want to face a guy named Paul

The theme of the week for the bullpen is don’t let the lead off batter get on base.

I agree. He is not a great defensive catcher, but he hits home runs. Big home runs. So do you put him on bench? I don’t think so

No way you take Travinski out of the lineup. He’s on fire.

No way? All I have read on the Tiger Melt is how LSU is terrible and can't score and leave runners on base.

KY scored more runs (4) than any other team Skenes faced this year. He's gonna be on a mission Friday. They're gonna see him not just ready because it's the super-regional and he's a focused player, but because he wants payback.

I’m really nervous about Jobert… I know it’s not logical but he cost us the sweep in the field.

They give up too many outs bunting and getting thrown out trying to steal bases. It may work for a game or two but over a long season the numbers say that style will score less runs. They are the opposite of Money Ball.

All it takes is a timely hit with runners on the bases and that stat of runs scored is totally flipped around. But can they get that hit will be the question.
