Coaches Poll more aligned with national seeds, IMO. A good showing from LSU in the SECt and they could clinch the #2 national seed. A poor showing and go 0fer and they still get a top 8 national seed.

We get a National seed regardless.
I know we want to be a high seed.. but at the end of the day as long as we get a top8 that’s all that matters.

I agree but a higher national seed also garners a better super match up. Either way, we don't need to force anything in the SEC tourney. Go in with the plan to have your team on the right schedule and healthy going into the Regionals and if that plan wins a few games or even the tourney, then fantastic. If not, move on to the real postseason.
I think it would be nice to get some momentum going into the NCAA tournament given how much we've come back down to earth late this year.
