Ole Miss talked a lot of similar shite about Tennessee before the series last year and Tennessee proceeded to hit 85 HRs over three days in Oxford. Not excited about stirring them up like this.

Maybe he was referring to the switch to high noons and seltzers due to the bud light boycott.

Might as well have been 85 HRs. Tennessee had 36 hits & 26 runs in those 3 games.

They're 12th in the SEC in homeruns hit in SEC games (15).
We're 1st in SEC homers allowed (14).
Just for fun, they've allowed 35 homers in SEC games (most).

On Chris Demouy's 60 Feet 6 Inches podcast, Jim Cross (not privy to his legitimacy but an Ole Miss season ticket holder and seemed locked in) said Bianco has officially announced Hunter Eliott will be the Saturday (Game 2) starter.
He said they'll probably go:
Game 1: RHP Jack Dougherty
Game 2: LHP Hunter Elliott / RHP JT Quinn in Relief
Game 3: LHP Xavier Rivas

Former tiger Chris Demouy had a guy on his show from Oxford that knows the program well and said that the expectation is that Elliott starts on Saturday. Probably around a 50-60 pitch count if he had to guess. Just passing that information. I cant verify 100% if it’s correct
