This was always going to be a tough series.
Arkansas may be a little depleted in pitching because of injuries, but they still have guys like Smith, McEntire, and Hollan. Hitting wise they have a solid lineup. The OF has a lot of power mixed in with solid hitters like Slavens and Stovall.
Arkansas fans think because of a few years of success against LSU that they are kings of the SEC, especially the SEC West.

It's akin to Florida losing at home to Auburn the week before the LSU/Florida football game in 2007. The Florida game was labeled the biggest home game of the season in August. Florida dropped from #3 but it was still a massive and important game.

LSU owes Tennessee baseball a whipping. They could be 0-6 and it's still a gigantic weekend. It will be the most fired up and rabid crowd at the Box this season outside of the postseason.

Agree, and I hope we whoop them so bad it takes them 2 weeks to get off of the mat and they start out 0-12 in SEC play.
ETA: they better pick it up soon. It doesn't get any easier for them. aTm, LSU, Arky,Florida,Vandy. Could legitimately be around 5-13.
