It would take $14.9 million to fire CMM this month. LSUAD is not gonna pay that. And SW does NOT have MBB on his front burner. He will give MM AT LEAST 3 seasons even if we are last in the SEC for 3 straight years.

Everyone was excepting a bad season. I would take this record if we consistently lost close games. A majority have been blow outs and blowing big leads. Paired with zero player improvement and waiting until WAY too late to just roll with the future of the team.
Pay the buyout and move forward. Give the next coach a chance to use the portal.

We are about to get an extra 40 million per year in SEC money after Texas and OU join. 12-14 million is a drop in the bucket and much better than tanking the program even further. It will depend on Scott’s ego. Can he fire a guy who was thought to be an up and comer but is an abject failure? Hard to say, but I would respect him a lot more if he just fired him and owned it.

Well anyway the movie I saw was the one we’re we did blow a huge lead but in our defense somehow the opponent always had some type of best ever or record breaking shooting performance and you do have to take that into effect. HOW ABOUT PLAYING SOME GODDAM DEFENSE, THAT MIGHT HELP A LITTLE ANYWAY. That was just the one I saw like 4-5 times.

I mean I understand it, don’t really say Woodward should be canned with the situation at the time. There is a reason why Woodward hires big names though, it prevents this.
Due to the whole Wade situation, no big name would come and he had to pay up to convince a coach to come. Woodward hires big fish that are proven and it will work when paired with LSU’s talent pool.
Hopefully the NCAA wraps up our investigation soon, so we can hire a good coach.
