Is he an LSU Great, obviously, but I am not sure if he's better than Belle, Walker, Larson or McDonald.

I said earlier Todd Walker is my GOAT, and there are others in that space. I'm watching Crews for the last 2+ and enamored. We have had great players, but I would never think I would put someone up over Walker. Dude is amazing.

Dylan is up there but I still have Ben #1. Ben’s ERA got bloated his Jr year as he ran out of gas and got touched up late in the season. He pitched in the Olympics between his sophomore and JR year and pitched close to 300 innings in 12 months. That’s insane for a 21 year old. People would lose their mind if that happened today. Early in the season when he was healthy, threw 44 1/3 scoreless innings. There was no doubt that he was going #1 and thought to be a generational prospect. As good as players we have had come through here, I don’t think anyone was viewed as talented as Ben was by MLB scouts and GMs.

Crews is truly a great one and will likely cement his spot in the all time players list. I will reserve judgment on just where on the list I’d put him until later this season. We’ve had the greatest of the greatest come through LSU, just roughly these are the guys he’d be compared to that are not pitchers.
