The author of this article doesnt understand the implication of in state recruiting and LSU. If BK can keep the top 15 recruits in state, LSU should be in the playoff yearly.

BK's reasoning for coming to LSU was recruiting advantage well this year's class is basically in a tie with Notre Dame's class and previous classes are also close. My question is was the problem really recruiting at Notre Dame?

We may end up at #5 once the dust settles. We may win the West again next year. I think we can do both...

Where he's wrong is thinking the fanbase is satisfied with that. As a whole we aren't. Where he's right is that competing every few years is the reality of what we are and have been since 2003. Where expectations and reality don't match. We are entitled for reasons unknown. We've never been what we seek to be. Expecting better and accepting the reality is where this place has issues

That isn't up to BK alone. And from what I have read, we matched NIL for any player we wanted. I doubt we will get into bidding wars for HS recruits though.

That is on the coaching staff, not NIL money spent. It does have an impact but it is on the staff to counter what it does.

BK will take anyone who is willing to play by his rules, if they aren't he will pass. At least that is how it appears to me, specifically the Denver Harris situation. He had a face-to-face sit down and told him what he expected from him before any offer was extended.
