Assuming Howard isn't in play, there probably isn't a right choice, there's a best worst choice.

Well Nuss was Mr. INT when he first saw the field and Howard is the future.
The only other option was MB and there was more to that story than we know.
JD is fine. He will be coached through his mistakes as he already has what you can’t coach.

The best QB is not on LSU’s bench or team for that matter..probably on the opponents bench..

Who is also mobile and can get out of trouble when line collapses.
This is all better than a wreckless gunslinger that’s less mobile and probably on the same level reading defenses.
I assumed the ignorant portion of the fan base was going to disappear after last night, but here we are.

Nuss can read defenses?? Almost every time he steps on the field he turns it over.
There isnt a great choice unless they choose to throw Howard in there to develop.

I think there is more to the story of picking daniels. Spring looked like they put MB in a no win situation. And nuss looked like the choice in the spring.

Needed the continuity of Brennan this year.
Next year either Nuss or Howard.
Or if you started Brennan and were out of it, give Nuss or Howard the reigns for the last 5 games to build for next year.

Daniels would be a Wr or Db at any other winning Major program except ASU or LSU. LSU because Kelly was lazy in the Portal, ASU because Edwards was stupid enough to let him play Qb.
Daniels is the Practice Squad Qb when you're getting ready for rent-a-wins.
