FSU vs LSU

Greeting Tiger fans. First, let me say I wish this was a home and home. Would love to visit Tiger stadium and meet a few LSU fans. Likewise, would have loved to have you all visit Doak and stop by our tailgate.
Now that we have that out of the way, let's get to business.
Wanted to share a little insight on how our team has been coming along after the first week or so of fall camp and get your take on your team.
This will be the best OL we have had in 5 years and it is not even close. We have a true 3 deep rotation now and a lot of big boys there. Coach Atkins has done a terrific job recruiting on the OL and was promoted to OC.
At QB, this will be the 3rd year we have had Jordan Travis. He is very fast, and his arm has improved along the way. Our WR's still need to show more, but there is talent and depth there. At RB, they will be very serviceable and capable of the homerun plays. TE is average.
Defense, our secondary should be a strength. Starters back at Safety with a 5 star and an NFL caliber player on the other side. CB should be good with big play potential. Up front, the DT are vets with some new faces at DE. Verse should be good coming off the edge. LB has been much improved.
These are all Norvell's guys now and they have all bought in. Yes, we sucked last year, but was beating Clemson in Death Valley till the last few minutes of the game and gave Kelly all he could handle the first game with a good ND team last year. Was in every game but one last year. This year we "should" be much improved and bowl eligible.
I expect a very close game. When we first scheduled y'all, I thought we were nuts being that y'all were in Championship form then. Now both teams need this win to have some momentum for the season.
We did Sell out our 30,000 tickets and will have some fans there, but it will still be a home game for LSU in New Orleans.
Would love to get your take on the game and learn a little about your team. How do you feel about the QB position?
Thanks in advance, and look forward to the game!

Since this will be LSU's first game of the season I expect a closer game then most people will think but I think Kelly will have this team ready to play unlike Ed O the last few years. Our Dline is stacked and if our transfers pan out I expect a decent year from us. Since this game is in the Dome my prediction is: LSU 34 FSU 24

I could see a score like that (34-24 LSU). Would not surprise me if LSU won by 10. I do think FSU can win this game though. Will know more after our first tune-up game.

Your O line will be tested by our D line. It’s possibly our strongest unit. And our receivers will get open against your secondary. Especially Boutte, Y’all will be sick of hearing his name.

But Florida State absolutely could win. There is a reason the spread is within 3 points.

LSU will certainly have one of the best, if not THE best DL's we face all season. We just need our OL to do just enough to by some time for the QB to find the Wideouts.
I do think Boutte can exploit some of our CB's and have a 100 yard plus game.
Our kicking game does not look good at the moment, so special teams should point to the Tigers as well.

I think the spread should be LSU -7.5. So most likely won't touch this game... Unless I am winning in Biloxi before the game***

You’re in for a rude awakening. Your team is undersized and inexperienced. You O-Line is out of shape and soft.
It will be a route. But enjoy the party in NOLA! Bring a purple or gold shirt to throw on after the game so you can still go out and have a good time.

I can tell you have not been keeping up with our current roster. We return 8 starters on offense and defense. We will not be inexperienced.
As for our OL being out of shape and soft, that was our OL of past years, not this one! You will see a MUCH improved OL for the Noles.

Ohhh that’s where you’re wrong. I’ve seen 2-3 TikTok’s by FSUs football team.
They are so small.

Ignore this idiot. He calls Tigah fans trolls because we believe in CBK. This ain't the Age of O anymore. We will destroy FSU. And if 225Tyga don't like it, tough shite.

Sooo.. back to the question. How do you like your QB?
Posted on 8/2/22 at 7:13 pm to DB1Nole
We have 2 really good options in Brennan and Daniels. One big hit or miss with nussmier.
Brennan will probably be our starter for y’all’s game and put on a clinic through the air.

Brennan looks good. We will certainly have to get pressure on him. Probably will be hard to get too much pressure with LSU's OL.
Posted on 8/2/22 at 7:23 pm to DB1Nole
Correct. That’s a recipe for a blowout.

Florida State is 7-2 lifetime vs LSU, and all those wins, save one in 1990, were in Tiger Stadium.

LSU's unknown factors are going to raise their collective head and DOMINATE - mark it
