There are multiple numbers in life

Are you considered special based upon your IQ?

Yes but 1 is the loneliest number

7 and 18 it’s really not that hard to understand

7 & 18 and they are both stupid.

Apparently enough to trigger the losers on this board

7 & 18 are the two ‘active’ special numbers.
All you morons who think the traditions are stupid should consider this:
7 is a special number at LSU and has been deemed by the players. It is used as a media play for the LSU brand (think of how many times TV cameras zoom in on that special number) and with recruits. It also holds major significance inside of the actual team locker room.
18 is a special number because of the brotherhood it has created and what it means to persevere as a leader (which is a very rare thing in college football today) and wear 18.
For anyone who thinks the traditions are stupid, your opinion holds absolutely no weight. It is a part of LSU football culture and it means something to the players, so keep crying but it won’t matter.

Too many. The 7 and 18 things are dumb.

I don’t think they are dumb because they are authentic. They evolved within the locker room. Maybe 7 was a copycat of 18 but they’re authentic.

Don’t forget 36 for Derrick Bryant

I don’t know but I never want another to wear #9

20 is the only one I know of.

Isn’t #20 retired for Billy Cannon….
