10 wins is the absolute floor for this roster and coaching staff.

We can all agree that this team was under coached and had some bad breaks over the last two seasons.
Case in point. This is my view only but I found it questionable that a player like Major Burns could just walk in and start game 1. Not that he’s not talented enough but I don’t believe he was actually in a real competition. He was awarded a spot. The same for a few of our o lineman and freshman wr’s. They just came in and immediately played. It makes no sense. Even max Johnson was awarded his spot because of injury and inexperience. That stops this year. If you get on the field it’s because you have BKs complete trust and will have earned it.

I love the way that BK has these guys competing all off-season not just athletics but academically and socially as well. That’s a key indicator of culture change.

Looking at the way that BK built his staff and the way we strategically brought in veterans at specific positions I think our tigers are being drastically under rated.

I’m looking at our team as if it’s a les miles team but with better coaching. Those les miles teams cruised to 8 wins just by showing up. The talent was just that good. Now you mix in BK and I think we won’t be out coached or schemed in any game we play.

From all the interviews of players this off season. I’ve heard multiple players mention that they expect to compete for the whole thing this year.

Looking at our current roster I see draft picks at every position. Our D line will make the job of our corners way easier. Our passing game will make the run game more fluid.

Bama is the only team on our schedule that we won’t have better starters than A thru Z. And as far as coaching goes BKs track record says we’re superior in every other match as well.

I think most of our fans are previewing the season based on our recent track record of coaching. This is a whole new deal. We spent good money on great coaching. I refuse to believe that this team won’t be ready.

Tenn Miss St Arky are all good teams. We’re better. Ole miss is in complete rebuild mode with a new OC DC and QB

AnM got that arse beat by our worst squad in years.

I’m not buying anything less than 10 wins in the regular season.

That’s an aggressive amount of words.

Love the enthusiasm, but you gotta cool the jets.
This team has talent holes, if not holes in general.
O left a void, and unfortunately, it’s gonna take more than a year to fix it.
ANYTHING above 7-5 should be considered a win year for BK.

No one is reading that many words, especially with that subject line

I agree. If BK can get us to 10 wins, I'll be elated. I admit that I am optimistic by expecting something like 8-9 wins.

6 months ago LSU played a bowl game with 38 scholarship players, lost by three touchdowns and wrapped up a losing season and 3-5 conference record.

If we win 10 games is will be a historic turnaround and BK will be Coach of the year.

Yes it’s possible but to expect it is ambitious at best.

There is a ton of talent on this team but the depth of the roster is the issue. There is a path that they can get to 10 wins but to say it is the floor is just not being realistic.

I disagree. I think this is an 8 win team. And, I'm assuming coaching gets us to 8.

BK came in and filled all those wholes. No pun intended. We only have room for one more scholly player. And also he didn’t just go grab scrubs he went and got all conference and all American guys to fill those positions. Where aren’t we deep at. The olive class is mostly juniors and seniors. Kardell Bradford Martinez turner and the rest have been in the program 3 years now. We don’t have any excuses. Especially when last year was Bryce young’s first as a starter. Why not us?

You're delusional. This roster is not as good as you think. Recruiting fell off the last two years under Orgeron & BK had to use transfer portal for nearly half of the 2022 class. If this team wins 10 games, it will be a miracle.

You can get about 14x your money on FanDuel betting that LSU wins 10 games.

You're micro over analyzing to convince yourself of more wins.

Very common thing to do in the off season.

And setting that high of an expectation on Kelly after 11-12 over two seasons is straight up fricked up.

You need to get your mind right and calm the hell down.

It is naturally fun to be excited before the season, especially with a new professional head coach...

Lets get into the meat of the SEC schedule....then we will know.

To expect it is retarded. I'd expect that level of judgment from a 6th grader, unable to separate emotion from unpalatable facts. This is just pitiful for a grown man.

Lol. Apologies for the les miles comp. but where does our roster not match up? Bama just had to go get a vandy player to shore up there line that we rag dolled last year. Tell me where we don’t have enough talent.

I hear you but my expectations are tied to the 10M we paid for the 2nd best coach in all of football.

So you're totally comfortable and confident with the secondary and OL right now?

Ed O got us to 6-6 as a lane duck coach. I understand we have to temper our expectations but if he goes 6-6 I’ll be SHOCKED.
