What are your feelings about Stingley?

Will he always be a Tiger? Is he Ben Simmons 2.0? Or are we good with him if he kills it on Sundays?
I’m not sure what to think about him. It seems like he checked out the last 2 years. Just 1 nice tackle this year

He helped LSU win a NC. Sucks the way the last two seasons went, but he's still a Tiger.

He will always be a Tiger. He shut down the best receivers in the country as a freshman. Even that on Devonta Smith TD was Bama taking advantage of a play change. It sucks his career has been marred by injury the last two years but I will definitely pull for him on Sunday’s

Stingley played a big role for a national championship team. Simmons didn’t do shite.

National Champ but couldve been the greatest DB in LSU history.

Some of you are just insufferable. He was a great player that battled injuries the last two years on terrible teams. He is and will always be a Tiger.

I think he was a key piece of our 2019 championship run.
I think he battled injuries in 2020 and missed a lot of time. The one thing I fault him for that year was his “reaction” prior to the Moo State game, assuming the rumors were true.
I think he continued to battle injuries in 2021. And despite what a ton of folks want to believe, I don’t think there’s a snowball’s chance in hell that he had a completely unnecessary surgery in the middle of his money year just so he could opt out of the rest of the season.
I also think a lot of LSU fans will never think that highly of him again 1) because he came in with sky-high expectations and actually lived up to them during his freshman year, and 2) because his dad went on the radio and said a lot of stupid shite.
It is what it is, but I’m glad he played here and I hope he has a phenomenal NFL career.

As good as Peterson, Claiborne and Mathieu

He played for us once. Remember he backpedaled well and had one good hit in 2021. After kudo’s for that hit, he disappeared.

Doesn’t have near the heart of those guys.

He quit the team and he did it early so as an LSU fan, he quit on the team that I like and support emotionally and financially and I have little reason to like that. I support a team, not a player.
I appreciate some of what he did while he was here but he’s kinda dead to me

I look at Stingley as a guy with a ton of talent who had an incomplete career here, almost like what could’ve been because he came here with so much hype and was so good as a freshman.

We hardly knew you, thanks for your efforts in 2019. Totally irrelevant after 2019.
