Found this article, not sure if Germans, but it had a good argument.

I agree. I love that addition. Especially if we are headed for 16 teams.

This league is so loaded that we don't really need to add four more heavyweights.

I'd be in favor of Army and Navy. Heck, I'b be proud to have them in the conference.

well, not only does it seem to be a good fit (move into Maryland without the hassles of poaching the ACC), but the additions of A&M and Navy certainly give me a much better chance of getting laid throughout football season.

navy is certainly a big TV draw as well, especially when they're playing someone decent (as they would a lot in the SEC)

Interesting proposal, I don't see it, but interesting. I had a few friends go to Navy, and Annapolis and a pretty good football environment. While most people don't know it, they have excellent athletic facilities.

I would have never thought about either of those schools, but imo, it sounds like a good idea.

And perhaps the ACC could add Army if they go to 16 and the game would be another ACC/SEC rivalry.

their small stadium size could pose a problem for football

I'm really supportive of this....I hope there's SEC people in high places that have considered this.

A&M + Navy would be awesome IMO.

I liked it cause Im from Maryland and would love the SEC to get up there. Navy definitely is good enough to at least hold its own. Being in the SEC I think could also help Navy with drawing some better football players who are also able to do well at Navy.

Theres also a lot of room to add on to there current stadium if they joined the SEC and there stadium became too small for the crowds.

i've been to annapolis for a game and despite the small stadium it was a great atmosphere

and like mentioned above, i think they could expand their stadium
