My sources here in Texas say that these three schools are joined at the hip. For some reason no one has mentioned Oklahoma in the mix. Could they seriously be looking at going to the SEC? I have heard they have had talks with the comish.

I don't think Tech as much as Texas and A&M. Hell, they each have references to the other in their fight songs! They've been together forever. I don't see that changing. I do think the SEC Commissioner is a shrewd mofo and he'll get something out of the deal.

The Texas schools will go West. The SEC and Mike SLive are way behind the expansion curve.

Lubbock newspaper is reporting that UT, A&M and Tech have an agreement that they will stick together if big 12 folds.

Unless another conference bids another nickel for UT. Then they'll shift...again.

No way Texas goes to the SEC. Texas wants no part of revenue sharing. Plus in the SEC they wouldn't be the big dog anymore. The pac whatever doesn't have revenue sharing and with USC on the verge of being terrible they will go there

Don't all conferences share TV revenues?

Most do, but I believe the Pac-10 doesnt share evenly across the board. Marquee programs garnering significantly more revenue...but i could be wrong.

I just read a piece here that Big 12 teams share 1/2 their TV revenue.

That is true and they are the most arrogant bunch of bastards (UT Fan). Trust me they are not SEC material.
