FOR NOW SEC saving face all it is. We didnt help destroy a conference.
A&M will meet and vote the move to SEC and we will say yes. We didn't go looking for them.

Slive is an attorney and this is all legal posturing. A&M is also doing their own legal/Texas Political posturing.

They lost to Arkansas and UF (I think). WVU lost to Pitt. Huge difference.

I'm confused, if this is posturing why meet before A&M BOR meets? Hell why did it have to be in person. Seems like an awful lot of trouble for a ruse.

Not true. Lots of upsets in 07, that was as crazy a season as I can ever remember. WVU was legit that year.

It was a crazy season, and they were good, but they were in no way one of the best two teams in the country.

UK

neither were ranked. neither were as bad at pitt, but neither were ranked

and WV's QB got hurt

they had a blitz-heavy D that was elite. LSU struggled with teams who put pressure on the QB that year

WV's offense was basically everything that LSU could not stop in 2007

on a neutral field with both at 100%, during the course of the year, i think WV takes LSU

In that case LSU probably didn't deserve to be there either.

The best team in the SEC played in the Sugar Bowl cause they choked against Tennessee.

UK was ranked #17 going into that game. #8 after.

Legal posturing. The Sec does want to be included in the truck full of law suits sure to follow - will ATM's battle to fight and finance. Gators don't, however, want FSU. If Tn,AL,and MS has 2 sec teams, then the giant state of FL should buck up and atke it.

no arky or UK to be seen

UK did get votes in the AP poll, but weren't ranked

I have to believe this too.

I mean FSU or Mizzou, what looks more attractive (Voting teams out don't count here)

FSU is a lot more popular than Mizzou.

What would the US rather watch. FSU-LSU or LSU-Mizzou?
