the Longhorns. A&M threw a serious monkey wrench in the plans of UT which had concerns on how recruiting could be impacted with A&M selling recruits on playing in the SEC.

Mark it down - this process isn't over, a couple of years from now, Texas will bolt and screw over the rest of the Big 12 in a heartbeat.

If SEC seriously makes a push for OU and Texas, it will be A&M left in the cold and imagine how pissed the Aggies will be then.

never happen... Texas wont accept equally distributed revenue, and they dont want that competition.

They clearly want to be the bully on the block, and they cant in the SEC.

I CAN see however, the SEC making a push for OU. That wouldnt bother me at all... but Slive will have to figure out how to wean OU off of UTs tit.

oh, and we still take TAM. thats a great scenario IMO.

Plan B for Texas is being Notre Dame. They think everyone loves them. And Chip Brown thinks he's Lindsay Nelson.

i can totally see them going this route... Texas' collective ego seems to have grown exponentially thoughout this process.

Id would be funny to watch them do it and slip in to mediocrity just as ND has... although its not likely with that recruiting base.

I think the funniest thing will be them going the ND route and then whining about how, unless they're 11-1 or 12-0, they only get offers from the Poulon Weedeater Bowl each year because every halfway decent bowl has conference tie-ins and can't take an At Large team.
