Texas A&M has not finished in the top 5 since the 1950s

They are a colt. They are a little brother. We are not getting Texas here. From a revenue aspect, it makes a ton of sense so don't get me wrong about the overall addition. They'll be fine but will still suck over the long term.
And please spare me the comments about their women's field hockey team.

I'm fine with A&M. An easy win every season that looks pretty good on a SOS resume. Big name.
But all this talk of ending historical SEC rivalries is pissing me off.

They are a joke. I watched how a decent LSU team made their inferior athletes look like a joke. They let Jefferson throw 3 TDs. Look at the history of the Big 12. They will get beat by Oklahoma and will go home without a title...AGAIN.

you know when the SEC set up permanent opponents in the 90's Bama and Tenn wanted to play and AU and UGA, UF didn't care cause they had an easy win.

Nobody won the Big XII as much as OU. They've won it over half the damn time!
