We looked at the direction Aggie was headed and did the exact opposite of that model...
...or we popped in tapes of Texas vs. TAMU between 2000 and 2005. Chris 'fricking' Simms picked you guys apart. Ouch.

finally started to pay for quality coaches
you know the story on Slocum and LSU? Had the First Bush call Skip after Saban left and asked for a sit down interview...Skip gave it to him out of respect "He's a mans man, a gentleman" said Skipper

Uh...
...no:
Hullabaloo, Caneck! Caneck!
Hullabaloo, Caneck! Caneck!
Good-bye to Texas University
So long to the Orange and the White
Good luck to the dear old Texas Aggies
They are the boys that show the real old fight
"The eyes of Texas are upon you..."
That is the song they sing so well
So good-bye to Texas University
We're going to beat you all to--
Chig-gar-roo-gar-rem
Chig-gar-roo-gar-rem
Rough Tough! Real Stuff! Texas A & M!
Saw Varsity's horns off!

I'm embarrassed for them.
Suddenly Hotty Toddy or Rammer Jammer isn't the gayest thing going in the SEC.

quote:I think it is more a natural than Arkansas and "the Boot" if only b/c LSU and A&M used to play in regular season for many years back in the Mac and Post-Mac era. This is strictly from memory and it's possible I'm not remembering clearly. But maybe a three-way grudge battle could get keyed up with LSU and former SWC rivals Arky and TAMU as the stars. Just a thought...

Those things coupled with pompoms are hard to compete with.

Hey...at least the Elephant Walk is typically confined to lesser SEC fraternity houses and not the entire student body.

Our two schools have Deep Agriculture Roots! If the night wind blows in a certain direction on both campuses you are reminded of your schools Agriculture Roots! We have more in common than not!

Man... it was hilarious at then Cotton Bowl. This elderly Aggie tugs on my shirt in the 4th. Asks me to sit down. I look at him and said, "Chig-gar-roo-gar-rem. Stand up with the rest of them!"

Have you guys figured out how to properly build a bon-fire yet?

I hate TAMU, but Bonfire jokes are about as cool as Katrina jokes.

Dumbass spreadsheet ... updated. Also - what's a bon-fire?
Posted on 8/15/11 at 9:10 pm to Bzoner
Yeah, I'll always get way more excited when LSU plays our traditional SEC opponents like Alabama and Florida than Arky or the Aggies.
Posted on 8/15/11 at 9:26 pm to DaleDenton
Do you have any 9-11-01 jokes to tell also? I would like to see more jokes about tragic events (note the sarcasm)
Bonfire jokes are never cool. Maybe if VT is team 14 you can make jokes about their tragedy also

As much as I hate to admit it , I believe Joe Dean was very wrong in cancelling the contract. Brodhead had renewed the rivalry that I had remembered from the early seventies and to me it was a great rivalry. True, Aggies had begin to own us under Hallman, (although I believe one of the games in Tiger Stadium under hALLMAN was at least competitive) and Dinardo 's first year over at Kyle field was a pretty good game. Dean had absolutely no reason for breaking the contract and I hope that T A & M comes over to the SEC so that we can bury the hatchett once and for all. Welcome Aggies, hope it happens.
