LSU gets a lot of recruits from Texas who want to play in the SEC, with TAMU in the SEC those players will just go to TAMU, instead.

in fact, the increased exposure in texas through local news and the papers will actually help LSU recruiting in Texas

Those contracts can be broken as long as you provide a suitable replacement, ask LSU.

It means nothing. The letter that the Big XII sent and it's proposed time frame are clearly a moot point now that the Big XII member institutions will not honor the agreement proposed in the letter. Since there's absolutely no way the Big XII would ever sue the SEC, as "re-interpreted" by Beebe on Wednesday, the letter only protecting the SEC from Big XII lawsuits is meaningless. That's why the deadline no longer mattered and why the deal will continue well past this deadline.
Both A&M and the SEC will do their own fact finding to determine how vulnerable they are to potential suits. I'd expect something to come out mid next week to the tune of the SEC admitting A&M unconditionally.

what did you just say? I think I threw up in my mouth a little. Well if the case welcome to the SEC and we already have the ups to the tune of 2 to zero which will be 3 to zero soon enough.
TAMU will try to crawl back to the Big 12 once this is all done. No more Baylors in our league....

Gerry, you are correct. You can bet your bottom dollar that Slive has done and is doing his homework (I think he is an attorney) and will come to the conclusion that Baylor, ISU, Kansas and Kansas State's proposed lawsuit is meritless and they cant stop nothing and any wise judge would throw the lawsuit out in a New York second. The Aggies have just been delayed a little but they will be in the SEC before this month comes to an end. Baylor, ISU, Kansas and Kansas State, these football behemoths will look like the pansies that they already are. Sorry if I offend any fans of these schools but thats just the way it looks to me in my opinion only.

whatever, USCe won a baseball National Championship and we brought a basketball National Champion to the league. Your other school presidents and Slive do not feel that way.
